Aetna needed a social media presence that could support members as they embraced healthy lifestyle changes and achieved their health goals. Above all, it needed to be easily accessible to older followers. That’s why, with the objective to inform, empower and inspire, we created simple, research-backed social engagement content that put real member stories at the forefront.
During my time working with Aetna, I worked with our artistic director to create multiple social campaigns, pitched new engagement ideas to the client and wrote all social copy across platforms.
Love Grows
We know from the research that being in a supportive relationship can do wonders for your mental, emotional and physical health. To celebrate Valentine’s Day throughout the month of February, we reminded audiences how partnerships can evolve though life’s many stages by sharing the touching love stories of some of our members.

Studies show when it comes to tackling difficult or obligatory tasks, the hardest part is getting started. We created this series to make it easier for Aetna followers to take that first step toward achieving their health goals.
Grateful for Our Members
At the close of 2018, Aetna wanted to thank its members for their inspiration and support. We created a video highlighting the thematic through line between all the powerful stories we spotlighted in the preceding year. The result was one cohesive narrative of optimism, drive, courage and resilience.
